Empties!

Hey there!

Sorry good people. This empties is kinda late. I normally like to post my empties at the very end of the month or the first or second day. Today is the 6th day of the month. Not too far in but, you know. So, today I'm taking a little bit of time away from unpacking boxes to chit chat with some of my favorite folks!

This month I did go through quite a bit of products. In the bath I used two Sonoma Spa Bubble Baths this month. I finished one in Ocean Spa and one in Milk & Honey. Both of them are really nice. I've begun using these more than the others that I have. I like them because the price is right and they have so many different fragrances that they can match my mood. I will always repurchase these.

I also finished an Avon Bubble Bath in Peony Blossom. It's a strong scent and very floral. I'm not a big floral scented person so it was nice but I probably won't buy it again. I used a shower gel from a set that my sister got me for Christmas. It was in the scent Pomegranate Noir. It boasts of a scent of Exotic Spices and exquisite flowers. It was nice but didn't lather very well and the scent wasn't very strong. I probably wouldn't purchase that one.

I did finish a Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel. Yum! I picked it up at either TJMaxx or Marshalls and if I EVA see it again, I'm picking up three. It's fantastic! It smells good, lathers great and make my bathroom spa like! And, I also finished a Bath & Bodyworks Malibu Heat shower gel. It smelled ok. It, of course, lathered very well. The scent didn't wow me like I thought it would so I probably won't buy it again.

I finished my holy grail face wipes Wet n Wild Under The Sheets. I love these. I didn't have them for about 2 or 3 weeks and then I found a Wally World that had them in stock. I grabbed 2 (cause that's all they had!). They take off the makeup and they don't dry out the skin. It's great. The other good face wipe was the Clean and Clear Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleaning Wipe. I got these when I was out of my WnW ones. These are good too. I wouldn't kick them out of bed at night. In a pinch, I'd totally use these.

The other two wipes are not favorites at all. The Publix Makeup Remover wipes are horrible. They are wet and that's just it. I used them to remove swatches. The Giovani D-Tox System wipes were horrible. I had heard so many great things about them and I was so excited to try them. Not a fan -- really, really not a fan. They were oily and didn't remove any makeup at all. I tried one or two and then I just put them in the empties bin. It wasn't worth going any further.

I had random moisturization this month. I used not one, but two small H2O Targeted Care foot creams. I have a whole post about my love for this stuff. It's no surprise that I finished up two. I got mine from T.J.Maxx. If you find the full size of this stuff, GET IT!! Your feet will thank you.

My holy grail body lotion is Jergens Original Scent Dry Skin Moisturizer. I. Love. This. Stuff. It has a slightly cherry scent and it's nice and creamy. Not watery at all. I have other lotions but this is my favorite. The coconut body cream next to it is from the Dollar Tree. It was ok, for a dollar. The problem was, I only had it for a few months and it went rancid. It was slightly coconutty. Yes, I got my dollars worth. No, I wouldn't buy it again.

I used up a Secret Deodorant. No surprise there. It's the only deodorant I use. I tried a Cucumber Natural Essence Mask before I went to get portions of my face cut off (I mention why here). It was nice and I'd certainly use it again.

I used a mini Zoya Nail Polish Remover. I love this stuff. It's expensive but it works well and I feel like it's not as harsh on my nails. I finished a L'Oreal Shampoo trial. I've said it so many times. I like getting these minis but I really can't tell much with just a sample. I guess it was good. I also finished a package of bath salts that came in a Christmas gift. It was nice. I can't remember the fragrance though.

And that's what I threw out last Month. I think that was a pretty good green trash can haul. What did you toss out this month? How many would you repurchase?

Empties!

Hey there!

I know that I say it every month but, I didn't use a lot of product this month. Oh, sure, I used bath products because everyone has to stay clean. But, other than that it was a lean month. Not sure why but oh well!

I only finished one Avon Bubble Bath (2 for $9.99). I used up a Frosted Winterberry bubble bath. I think it's a seasonal one and it was pretty nice but I won't go stalking it. If I find another one I'll buy it. If not, c'est la vie! I also used a Sonoma Spa Bubble Bath in Lavender ($2.97). I liked it pretty well. It smelled light and fresh like you'd think lavender would smell, so I was pleased and have already repurchased it.

I finished a sample size of the Caress Fine Fragrances body wash in Adore Forever. It was very nice, lathered super well but the fragrance was strong. It really is like bathing with a perfume. While I liked it, I'd prefer a softer scent.

This month's plastic bag contained a Lush Fizzy Bath Bomb in Fluffy Egg ($5.95). The Lush website calls it an "Easter egg-shaped", "Candy-scented fizzer"-- vanilla cotton candy is what they say. It is sweet smelling, I'll give them that. And it fizzes like no body's business. I don't know that I'd say vanilla cotton candy scent though. I'd just say sweet. The tub turned bright pink and while I wanted to show you the picture of it...I decided against it. I used the whole thing in one go and over all I'd say it was worth it. I'd purchase it again.

I didn't finish these face wipes. These Olay Fresh Effects Deluxe Make-up Removal Cloths ($4.69) turned my face red and itchy. I should have known. Olay products don't play well with my skin. I wanted them to work but nope! I didn't even finish for fear of severe damage.

And I used up two of my regulars. For toothpaste this month, I used Crest Tartar Protection Whitening Cool Mint Paste. I always use a tartar control paste from either Crest or Colgate. I like paste over gel and cool mint over the other flavors. I don't think my teeth were any whiter than normal but no one said my breath was stinky. I also used a Bic Soleil 3 blade razor with a moisturizing strip. I don't know if the third blade makes a difference under my arm but I didn't like that moisturizing strip, that's for sure. It serves no purpose in my book and I don't plan to seek it out. Plan 2 blade Bic razors are just fine with me!

So I'm ready to toss the stuff in the big green tub and add the stuff I've already used up in May! Maybe there will be more stuff. Who knows?!

Did you have some real winners in your empties this month? Did you repurchase a lot of the stuff that you tossed or did you bid them good riddance and try something else? Do you recommend something new?

Empties!

Hey there!

I'm pulling out the new green empties tub to show you my trash! It's not super full but it so bubble bathy. I guess that means March was a very clean month for me.

I finished quite a few bubble baths this month. I finished up two Avon Bubble Baths. I used up a Vanilla Cream and a Peppermint Vanilla Bubble Bath. I loved the Peppermint Vanilla but I think it's seasonal. I'm going to check the Avon outlet book for it and if I see it, I'm grabbing 6!! I used a Sonoma Spa Bubble Bath in Japanese Cherry Blossom. It smelled very nice -- not a heavy cherry blossom scent as some of them tend to be.

I only used up 1 body wash and that was the Vitabath in Wild Red Cherry. Oh. My. Gosh. It smelled so darned good! It smells like a cherry lifesaver. You just want to bathe in it over and over again. I said that I wouldn't purchase anymore body washes because I have a ton, but I'd get this one. Let it be known!!

That yukky plastic bag contained a Lush Fizzy Bath Bomb in The Enchanter. Now, when I looked online to do research, it appeared that this was a limited edition bath bomb. I do know that it was at least a year old (don't judge me!) but I forgot about it until recently. I got about 3 baths out of it (cause $6.95 cannot go for one bath!) and it was delightful. If you've never had a Lush Bath Bomb, you need to treat yourself. Do like I do and break it and use it 3 or 4 times. You'll be glad that you did.

Yep! That's a Secret Deodorant. I can't fool you smart people. There's also a Mizani Spradiance High Gloss Serum. The kiddo and I LOVE this. We go through a bottle every 2 months are so. I also have 2 "not empty but so done" items. My small container of Make Up For Ever HD Primer is going bye bye. It's over a year old and it was a bit more liquidy than I think it should be. It was good but doesn't come close to the Hourglass one that I love. And, my Kiehls Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter is in the trash because it went rancid quickly. I think it was bad when they sent it to me as a sample. No worries though. It was a good product but I wouldn't pay for the full size.

I finished 2 face wipes. The Wet n Wild Under The Sheets makeup remover is my jam! It's wet enough and removes makeup like a champ BUT I have a hard time finding it. It's only at random Walgreens. So, next time I see it, I'm getting 2. The other face wipe pack probably still has about 2 left in it. I couldn't do it anymore. It's the Global Beauty Care Retinol Cleansing Cloths from the Dollar Tree. They are horrible. It's like wiping water on your face with a facial tissue. They are thin and very delicate. The makeup on my face isn't delicate and I need something strong to take it off. I will not repurchase these.

And last but not least, I finished 2 L'Oreal Age Perfect trial sized products. I finished a Cell Renewal Serum and a Day Cream. I mentioned before that the cell renewal serum smells great, goes into my skin perfectly but I don't see the benefits. I don't feel like my cells have renewed but you know what? If I like what it's doing, maybe that's reason enough to keep buying it. I dunno. I have repurchased another sample size of the day cream. Even so, I'm not sure that I'm 100% on board with it. I might get another cell renewal serum and then go back to my summer face moisturizer and see if that works.

Now we get to toss the stuff from the green basket, into the big trash basket. Like I said, it didn't seem like a lot but I say that every month. I guess when you see other people's empties, you feel like you should have more. Well, I don't and I guess that's ok.

What in your trash this month? Same ole, same ole from last month or something exciting and new? If I try to have something great in mine next month, you should try to as well!

Empties!

Hey there!

Not only is it the end of the month, it's also the end of the year. No, I didn't save any trash all year to show you but I will link all of my monthly empties at the bottom, just in case you missed a month. Cause, I know you want to see if I finished that bar of soap and what I thought.

This month I finished three Avon Bubble Baths! Yes, three of them. Don't act so surprised! You aren't new here (and if you are hello! Pull up a chair. Grab a refreshing beverage). This month I used up a Fresh Orchard Apple was so light and crisp. There is something about an apple scent that makes me feel clean! Vanilla Cream is one of my go-to scents. Love it. Sugar and Walnut was weird. It reminded me of a vanilla and almond scent which almost always turns my stomach. Of the three, this one will not be repurchased.

I also used up some shower gels. Bath and Body Works Napa Autumn Blackberry is to die for. I love this type of scent. It's so rich and decadent. I also finished a small container of The Body Shop's Early Harvest Raspberry shower gel. It also smells heavenly and delicious. Both of these lovelies will be repurchased whenever I see them.

I finished an Herbal Essences body wash in Honey, I Smell Good. It did not smell good. It was blah and really not worth the trouble. I used it up so I could be done with it.

I also finished a Body Fantasies Cotton Candy body lotion. This is the old packaging. That's how long I held on to this little gem. Now that I have replacements, I can slather this stuff on night and day. Who cares that I smell like a candy store?!

I always have my Secret Deodorant and my Colgate toothpaste in the mix. They are forever staples. I tried a Secret Clinical Strength Gel and didn't like it. In general, I like deodorant sticks. I don't like wet deodorant at all.

You see that mamma jamma sized tube of Aquaphor? Well, it's in the bin because it went bad. I have so many little tubes of Aquaphor all over the house and car and in ever purse, this large one by the bedside went all liquidy. It was time to toss it anyway. I began using Aquaphor when my daughter was born. They gave us a huge tub of it at the hospital. I've never been without it since.

So... I finished an Equate Beauty bottle of nail polish remover and it was fine, alone. But, when I added some to my Studio 35 Beauty nail polish remover container (the kind that you stick your finger in, swish it around and your nail is free of polish), it didn't work. It's like the container only likes the remover that it came with. That's ok though. I have a new remover that I'm going to try in the new year. Stay tuned for that!

I gave up on my yukky tube of e.l.f. Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara. I actually have 2 backups (well, one now) because I love this stuff. I draw in my eyebrows and then brush this stuff on them to keep everything in place. I tend to touch my eyebrows a lot during the day (I have NO idea why) and this just helps keep the color where it should be.

I got a sample of the Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy Damage & Color Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. I always say the same thing about these little samples. There are nice but who can tell if they like a product from a onetime use. Actually, a one wash used. You don't even get a complete hair shampoo out of this if you lather twice. And, I don't have a lot of hair but one packet of conditioner ain't gonna cut it skippy. This was fine. Just fine.

And last but not least, I (along with the kiddo) finished a bottle of Mizani Spradiance High Gloss Serum. You know this is my holy grail hair heat protectant. I've tried a lot of brands and even though this is $20 a bottle, I NEED this stuff in my life. Oh! Wonderful news update. I found a beauty supply store that obviously doesn't know that this is the elixir of hair life. They are selling it for $14.99! I almost pinched my mother right there in the store!

Oh yes! I always try to include some none beauty related empties, you know, just to make things fun. This month I am throwing in Gla'de (Glade) comes out strong with their seasonal scents and their Red Apple Bakery plug ins are so delicious. I am a sucker for all things food. I know that everyone likes the Bath and Body Works plug ins but I prefer the Glade ones. They have a great room throw (sometimes I have to unplug them) and I can always find them pretty cheap. This 2 pack was discounted at $3.42 and I had a $1 coupon! That made them $1.21 for each plug in -- sweet!

That's it good people. That's the stuff I used up this month and what I thought of it. I hope you guys enjoy these posts. I enjoy making them. I began with a small basket in my bathroom and now I have a larger tub sized bucket in my closet.

So, while I'm changing up certain types of blog postings in 2015, empties isn't one of them. A mini review is right up everyone's alley!

Other empties...

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things - Bubble Baths

Hey There!

Do you know what my most favoritest thing in the world is? A bubble bath. There is nothing like a warm bubble bath and a cup of cocoa in the winter (and a glass of wine in all other seasons). After a hard day at work or dealing with the kids (or people that act like kids) there is nothing better. Well a hot guy to wash my back would be nice but that's on my Santa wish list.

I know that many people have an aversion to sitting in water and letting their body soak. I don't have that issue. I love it and in all my (insert a random number here) years, I've never had any issues stemming from doing it. It relaxes me and comforts me and it can make a bad day all better and a good day great.

If you've read even 3 of my posts, you know I adore Avon Bubble Bath. I've used them for years. They have such great scents and 2 capfuls make a luxurious tub full of bubbles. They have shower gels as well but I don't gravitate towards them like I do the bubble bath.

If I want a luxurious shower gel I reach for my Caress or drugstore off brand Caress dupes. Those shower gels are so rich and sudsy. They lull you into a good mood! They smell good and rinse off completely and leave your skin feeling very silky.

If I want to step up my shower gel, I take my little behind over to T.J. Maxx, Ross or Marshalls and get discounted Philosophy shower gels. OMG! You haven't lived until you lather with one of those. The smallest amount suds up so thick and fluffy! And they all smell so good. Do you see this Old Fashioned Egg Nog Scent? It smells like egg nog! And the Strawberry Italian Soda? You can smell the bubbles! How the heck do you smell soda bubbles? Voodoo magic I tell you.

And, I'd be thrown out of blog land if I didn't mention Bath and Body Works shower gels. I enjoy them immensely. They have several scents that I like. They come out with new ones every year and all you have to do is watch YouTube for 3 minutes and you can find out what the latest and greatest scents are. I just pulled out the three that I've been loving recently. I have a ton of them to choose from though. They are always on sale.

See, you don't have to spend a ton of cash to have luxury. Some warm water and a shower gel can make all the difference in your world.

Try it. I bet you'll like it.

Empties!!

Hey there!

We've come to the end of the month so it's time to take out the trash! I keep a little, green container by my trash can in the bathroom just so I can keep my empties, show them to you and tell you what I thought about them. Let's see what I used up this month.

This month I only used up one AVON Bubble Bath (Lavender Garden - 2 for $10). I love it and will probably always repurchase it.  I also finished a Despicable Me Bubble Bath in Apple Banana that I picked up at the Dollar Tree. Don't you dare laugh at me. This stuff smelled soooo good! It didn't bubble up very much and it didn't last as long as my AVON bubble bath but it smelled soooo good! If I find this again, I'll probably spend the dollar and get it.

I finished two shower gels. I finished my I Love...in Cinnamon Swirl. I got this from the Target Dollar Spot. If you see this, grab it. I loved the smell. It smells just like red hots. I also used up a Caress Aqua Sparkle Shower Gel in Lilac Blossom & Aquamarine Essence. I have quite a collection of full sized shower gels so it takes me quite a long time to finish one. This one was so nice. It smells clean and fresh. It reminded me of the way a nice soothing bubble bath should smell. I would definitely repurchase this one.

I finished off two packs of facial wipes. While traveling I got 2 LA Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover Wipes. I was excited to get this. It mean I could try this out without purchasing the whole pack. Well, I tried one of the two. It sucked. It was wet enough but it left lint all over my face! Not a fan folks. Not a fan. The other wipes I used were the Simple Sensitive Cleansing Facial Wipes. I got these BOGO at CVS several months back. I think I have finally finished all of the ones I purchased (I had a coupon to go with the BOGO so I picked up a few packs). These were ok, but that was just it. They didn't do anything else for me. I can't remember what I paid but probably more than I should have.

I used up a Secret deodorant in Powder Fresh. I never use anything else. Nothing else keeps the stink away.

My splurge hair product is my Design Essentials Reflections Liquid Shine. It's almost twenty bucks but it smells so good (fruity and sweet) and I use it like hair perfume and a sheen spray really. The only problem with this is that it does weigh my hair down so I don't use it that often.

I'm tossing that Sally Hansen Sugar Shimmer nail polish. I hated that stuff! It sat on my desk for months and I finally decided it has to go.

Do you see this empty tub from Naturally...for you? I got that for Christmas last year. No, I didn't use it up. The scent was horrid but for some reason I never tossed it. This month I tossed it but decided I wanted to keep the jar and little scoop. I have no idea what I'll use it for.

I also finished a sample of the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! deep conditioning mask that I got in my Ipsy bag last month. It was a nice conditioning mask. I didn't really have any problems with it but the price point is high. $26 for 5.25 oz is a bit much in my opinion, for just ok. I currently have a stash of Organix conditioners ($7.99 BOGO) that I have fallen in love with. I don't see this item as a replacement of any sort for my beloved Organix.

I like to make my house smell good so I burn candles and use plug ins all the time. If I know I'm going to be home for at least 90 minutes, I burn a candle. This month I've been burning a lot of fall themed scents but I only used 2 candles up (I've been mixing and matching a lot). I know that everyone loves Bath and Body Works candles over all others but so far my favorite candle brand is the Target Scented Soy Candle line. I like their room throw and the fragrances have been very nice. This month I finished a Very Berry that I actually picked up from Marshalls for $3.99. I think it was a discontinued scent. Anyway, it smelled really nice and fresh. The other that I loved was the Heritage Pumpkin fragrance. Man! It smelled soooo good! I expected a pie to come out of the oven. Once I started burning it, I planned to run out and get a full size (the large 3 wick) but I had so many other fall candles that I needed to finish, I didn't get a chance to. If you still see this one at Target and aren't afraid to burn it (even if it isn't Christmasy), get it. You won't regret it.

And, as always, my random item. I have been loving my flavored coffee creamers! It's only been in the last 3 or so months that I have been using them. This month I've tried several but my favorite two for the month have been the International Delight Vanilla Caramel Creme and Nestle Coffee Mate Dulce de Leche. Both of these are sweet, caramel goodness that makes my plain coffees taste great.

And that's it! I can work on emptying stuff for next month now! What's in your empties? Did you love it? Will you buy it again?

Empties!

Hey there!

September is gone! I'm not sure where it went but it sure went fast. And now, it's time to show you what I used up this month as I walk towards the trash can.

Starting in the bathroom, the tub actually, I used up another AVON Bubble Bath (Coconut Water - 2 for $10) and a Target Up & Up brand body wash (Radiant Body Wash in Peach Extract and Silk $2.59). I like both brands. The Coconut Water Bubble Bath was ok but I'm not sure that I'll buy another one. The Peach Extract body wash was nice and creamy just as good as the Caress Brand. I will continue to purchase this one.

While in the tub a girl tends to shave her legs and (excuse my non-delicate nature here) pits. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I tried some cheapo reapo Dollar Tree razors ($1 for 5) and hated them. That means I have 5 razors that I need to trash. Bye Bye. I will NEVA purchase these again.

Deodorant - Secret brand in Powder Fresh. I buy them at Sam's Club, 4 for $7 or something like that or I use coupons at Target or Wal-Mart. Anywhosie, it's the only deodorant I wear because my underarms tell on me if I don't.

I'm tossing 3 bareMinerals products because they are old as heck and probably smell bad. I love my bareMinerals products and will always repurchase them but perhaps this time I won't go all ham and buy the big mamma jamma sizes! I put a good dent in the ORIGINAL SPF 15 foundation ($27). I probably only had 1/3 left. I only used half of the READY SPF 20 pressed powder Foundation ($29) and I might have used half of the tinted Balance & Boost Mineral Veil (purchased during a QVC special, so not sure of the price) -- maybe.

I need a moment of silence here. My favorite foot cream has been the Aveda Foot Relief cream for years. I love the smell, I love the feel, I love what it does for my feet. I don't love the price - $24. I have to give a bit of a spoiler here folks. I have tried other foot creams and so far they are only so-so. If I don't find something amazing soon, I'm going to have to borrow $24 from one of you and get this! And, by borrow I mean have with no intention of giving it back.

I got a Befine food skin care daily moisturizer ($24)  in an Ipsy bag and I don't like it. I tried it for a while and then decided that it wasn't any good. No need to keep it.

I picked up a Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub ($9.95) about a year ago. I gave some of it to my sister, shared with a friend and I still ended up with most of this left. I bought it to scrub the dead skin off my lips. I used it a few times and then realized, I don't have dead skin on my lips. I wear Baby Lips on my lips every night and it seems to do the trick. This is a nice product but I probably won't purchase it again.

I finally had to ditch my sample of Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer ($38). I wasn't a fan so I didn't use it that often and when I went to try it again, it was dried out. No worries. I don't think I missed anything. Not sure that I'd buy it.

I also had to let go of a Revlon Treat & Boost nail polish. I really liked it. It was great as a base coat on my nails. I don't know that it was magical or anything but it was nice. I bought it during the super CVS sale in the spring so I'm not sure what the cost is now. And, it may be discontinued. No worries. There are plenty of really good base coats out there.

Random - Clobetasol Propionate. My scalp needs extra help. I have to have this very month. I get it from my doctor's office.

And that's what's getting tossed in the bin this moment. I hope you enjoyed going through my trash. What did you finish this month that you loved? What did you finished that you didn't like?

Aug 31, 2014

Empties

Hey there!

And another month bites the dust! That's how it goes!

The month of August was unremarkable when it came to empties. I didn't really use much up. I spent the month testing new things and that almost always means nothing gets tossed in the trash.

Well, lucky for you, some things are consistent. I finished up several bath items. Of course I used a couple of my Avon Bubble Bath (2/$10). I used up a Warm Vanilla & Fig (which I LOVE!), a Peppermint Vanilla Swirl (which is great and makes the entire bathroom smell fantastic) and a Vanilla Cream (a favorite in my home. It's our go to BB). I always repurchase Avon Bubble Bath. I think I always will. I tried a Creightons Lime & Grape Energise Bath & Shower Gel (purely because it is English and in my head, I'm from England). I found it for $2.99 at Ross. It wasn't good. Not at all. It didn't lather worth anything. I ended up pouring it into the water stream as I ran my bathwater. It scented the room rather than anything else. I will not purchase another one (but I think I have another one to use up).

Another constant is candles. I burn candles all the time. I have to. It keeps me very level.
This month I finished a Bath & Body Works Peach Bellini ($5 sale) and Mango Dragon Fruit (3/$10 sale). The Peach Bellini is so peachy and smells soooo good. I used my warmer to finish off what you see here. The Mango Dragon Fruit was just ok. I can't see myself picking up another one of those. The large tin is a Target candle that I saw on a YouTube haul. It's a Bubble Gum Scented Soy Candle and in the store it smelled heavenly. Once I started to burn it, nuthin. I mean nuthin! For the first hour there was a faint scent of bubble gum and then nuthin for the next 44 hours. It claims to burn for 45 hours. I didn't test the theory because I have no plans on every purchasing this again. Disappointing! I kept the tin though, because it's cute but for $10, I'd like more than cute.

Then I have some random empties.

I am tossing an Egyptian Musk roll on oil. I love the smell of Egyptian Musk and can point it out in a crowd. But this bottle was old and had gone rancid. I have a replacement. I pick them up for about $2.99 at my local beauty supply store.

I always use Mizani Spradiance Hair Gloss on my hair. I use it every 3 or 4 days to keep my hair shiny. I also use it when I "pull" my hair with the flat iron once every two weeks. I have found that this is one of the only products that doesn't weigh down my hair and assists the flat iron with straightening my hair. I pay about $25 for it (depends on which beauty supply you go to). I've tried cheaper ones and they just don't work as well.

I had a mini Aveda Hand Relief that I got free when I purchased my full size Aveda Foot Relief. I love the foot relief. It does amazing things for my feet. But, the Hand Relief...meh! Nothing special. The 4.2 fl. oz. size is $24. For $24 I want ZING! BANG! POW! I won't be purchasing this.

The one mask that I did do this month was a Anti-Aging Grape Seed Mask by Skin Benefits. I don't remember where I got it from or how much it costs but I like it. It smells very grapey and the paper mask fits my face very well. You keep it on for 15 minutes and it's very comfortable. Afterwards, your face does feel refreshed and renewed. Man! Just writing that makes me want to go do a mask treatment!

I also finished a Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes. I think this pack was probably more for swatches than anything. I know that I purchased it while away from home (because it was a 6 pack) and it must have been my only alternative. I like unscented, sensitive baby wipes because I have sensitive skin. I don't know why the tiny pack though. I'd never buy one that small unless I had to.

And that's what went into the trash can this month. I didn't do anything fancy this month -- I kept it simple. Hopefully you found out about something new that you'd like to try.

OH!! I always try to add a non makeup item to the round up. Well folks, I have gotten heavy in the scrapbooking, card making, journaling arena. I have a pile of photos a mile high and didn't know what to do with them other than put them in a photo album and that's it. But, I'm a creative girl. I can't just do that! So, I've been scrapbooking. And, I've been card making. And, I've been having fun. If you've seen my IG, you've totally been bombarded with it. My tip for you? Find something that let's your creative juices flow. It helps with the stress of the day.

What did you use up this month? Did  you like it? Should we all buy it? Let me know!
