Hey
there!
I
went to my local Walgreens for drugstore things and came across a new makeup
line. I saw the Nonie Creme Colour Prevails makeup line. Am I the last one to
see this? Does everyone know about this except me?
First
of all, I'm super sorry that I don't have real pictures. The beauty sales lady
was stocking different makeup stations and I didn't feel right about snapping
pics right next to her. So I did the next best thing and went to the Nonie
Creme Colour Prevails website for pictures and research information.

When
I checked out the website I found out that Nonie began as a manicurist and became
a makeup entrepreneur. The story on her blog is pretty darn interesting. I'd
like to read the whole thing so there will be some more researching going on.
While
there is a complete makeup line, the Nonie
Creme Colour Prevails Nail Lacquer ($8 Walgreens) drew me in. They are five
free (no DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin or Camphor). I've been
researching "better for you" nail polishes so I like that. Nomie
changed the handle of the nail polish bottle for her polishes and made them
more ergonomic for your hand. They are Made in the USA and come in 35 pretty
interesting shades. There's also a regular top coat and a matte coat. I liked Girls Club and Babeland instantly. They are pretty pastel colors. I didn't pick
one up and now I kinda regret it.
I
also am pretty interested to check out the Nonie
Creme Colour Prevails Colourwash Comfort Balm ($9 Walgreens). It's a
combination of lip balm and lip stain. There are only 4 shades but really, who
needs many more than that?! My eye went right to the Pink Wash (pictured) but I could also take Berry Wash home and be a happy girl.
It
was early this morning and I hadn't had any coffee yet. Had I had my
Starbeezies, I would probably have one of each of these goodies. They do look
like pretties that I need to have in my collection.
Have
you seen these are your local drugstore? Had you hear of them before? What do
you think of them?
